The Richard Pittman New Works Fund supports the orchestra’s efforts to commission and perform new works. Donors can financially assist the orchestra with such projects by contributing to this fund.

Completed: Matching Fund Campaign – 250th Commission

Thank to everyone who contributed to our matching fund campaign! We raised $5000 during this campaign and received the matching $5000.

The Concord Orchestra commissioned “A Beacon of Hope” by Jeff Beal to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the battle at the Old North Bridge and the start of the American Revolution.

This commission is part of the town wide Concord250 celebration and the world premiere will be part of our American Heritage concerts right here in Concord on March 29^th and March 30^th, 2025.

We are most grateful your contributions. They cover roughly 50% of our expenses and enable us to perform a wide variety of concerts enjoyed by concert-goers of all ages.The Concord Orchestra is a 501©(3) not-for-profit corporation.
